Job summary

Leidos in Hawai‘i seeks a Systems Engineer to strengthen U.S. Air Force operations across the Indo-Pacific.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required or active clearance with ability to maintain.
  • IAT Level III certification required (CASP+ preferred; Security+ accepted).
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
  • 8+ years of experience in C4I systems engineering and support.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows, Linux, UNIX, networking, and DoD cyber frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ISR platforms such as GALE and GCCS.
  • Experience with Air Force intelligence systems, multi‑level security, and information warfare concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and enhance C4I system capabilities to meet evolving operational demands.
  • Develop integration roadmaps and implementation plans aligned with mission priorities.
  • Assess and optimize COTS/GOTS technologies for performance, resilience, and security.
  • Deliver full-spectrum technical support, including installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strengthen system reliability through proactive administration, monitoring, and repair.
  • Lead modernization and upgrade efforts across C4I architectures per government directives.
  • Track milestones and communicate progress to leadership and mission partners.

Job description

Step into a role where your technical expertise directly strengthens U.S. Air Force operations across the Indo-Pacific. As a Systems Engineer supporting Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) A2 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate, you’ll be embedded within the Pacific Enterprise Support Center (PA ESC), serving as a trusted expert in sustaining, integrating, and advancing PACAF’s ISR capabilities. Based at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawai‘i, you’ll operate at the heart of a globally connected mission-supporting intelligence units from Alaska to Guam, Japan, and South Korea through both on-site and remote engagements. This is an opportunity to shape the systems that enable real-time awareness, decision advantage, and operational success across the Pacific theater.

What You’ll Do

Basic Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • IAT Level III certification (CASP+ preferred; Security+ accepted)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field Equivalent technical experience or additional technical certifications may substitute for degree
  • 8+ years of experience in C4I systems engineering and support
  • Expert knowledge of Windows, Linux, UNIX, networking protocols, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks
  • Familiarity with ISR platforms such as GALE and GCCS
  • Demonstrated experience with Air Force intelligence systems, multi-level security, and information warfare concepts
Required Certifications

(Must hold at least one or equivalent level related certification)

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Expert (MCASE)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (ACSA)
  • VMware Certified Professional 6 (Data Center, Cloud, or Mobility tracks)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

Pay Range: Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
