Job summary

TeamGlobal is seeking a Senior Ground Systems Engineer to support Boeing's MILSATCOM ground system program in El Segundo, CA. The role includes requirements analysis, interface design, architecture, software integration, and system verification within an agile team.

You will interface with customers, mentors, and engineers to deliver verified ground solutions, with emphasis on C2 systems, test plans, and performance across multiple phases of development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science program.
• 14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Active U.S. DOD Secret Security Clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.
• A security clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.

• Plan, design, develop, and verify balanced lifecycle system-of-systems and ground system solutions.
• Evaluate customer needs to define system performance requirements.
• Integrate parameters and ensure compatibility across interfaces.

Job Description The Boeing Space and Mission Systems MILSATCOM Program is seeking a Senior Ground Systems Engineer to support the development and verification of next‑generation satellite ground systems in El Segundo, CA. This role supports multiple phases of ground system development, including requirements analysis, interface design, architecture, software integration and testing, system verification, and customer demonstrations. The successful candidate will work in an agile, collaborative environment with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Education & Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• 14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Active U.S. DOD Secret Security Clearance required; U.S. citizenship required
• A security clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active
• Experience in verification and testing of ground software Command and Control (C2) systems is required
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Preferred Skills

Job Duties & Functions

• Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to planning, designing, developing, and verifying balanced lifecycle system-of-systems and system solutions
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements
• Integrate technical parameters and ensure compatibility across physical, functional, and program interfaces
• Perform analyses to optimize system-of-systems and software system architecture
• Analyze affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory compliance, certification, product assurance, and quality factors
• Support planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes and tools
• Support risk, issue, and opportunity management, as well as technology readiness assessment processes
• Develop, execute, and document ground system test plans, procedures, and reports
• Support ground system verification and testing for customer delivery
• Verify and test ground Command and Control (C2) software systems, from individual components to larger functional systems
• Support requirements analysis, interface design, system architecture, software integration, system testing, and customer demonstrations
