Job summary

Simulation Systems Technologies, Inc. (SSTi) in Virginia is seeking a Systems Engineer with hands-on experience supporting Aegis Combat System operations, Ballistic Missile Defense, and Anti-Air Warfare testing.

You will provide shipboard and land-based system engineering support during simulated and live-fire events and Waterfront Integration Tests (WITs). The role focuses on operational accuracy, data collection, and test documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Aegis Combat Systems, missile defense, or naval combat systems.
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Aegis Combat System Scribe during shipboard and land-based test events for ABMD and AAW live fire and simulated missions.
• Record and document combat system activity, producing detailed event timelines and run logs.
• Identify, document, and track combat system issues with potential tactical impact (CPCRs, TORs).
• Support data analysis teams by documenting expected behaviors and system excursions.
• Collaborate with Navy operators, system engineers, SMEs, and test personnel.

Job Summary

SSTi is seeking a "Systems Engineer" with hands‑on experience supporting Aegis Combat System (ACS) operations, Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), and Anti‑Air Warfare (AAW) testing. The ideal candidate will provide shipboard and land‑based system engineering support during simulated and live fire events and Waterfront Integration Tests (WITs), with a strong focus on operational accuracy, data collection, and test documentation.

• Strong written communication skills for technical reporting and documentation
