Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a defense-focused program in Colorado Springs, CO. The role covers development, integration, testing, and performance analysis of mission-critical systems in a large engineering environment.

You will work across system requirements, architectures, and MBSE-driven modeling, leveraging MATLAB, Python, and Java for analytical work. On-site position with a strong emphasis on validation, verification, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Architecture, Requirements Management, Design Engineering, Test Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, DOORS, System Architect, or similar systems engineering platforms.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, or similar programming languages for analytical tool development and complex system analysis.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting DoD, command and control, communications, aerospace, defense, space, or other complex engineering environments preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI preferred.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a company focused on advanced defense technologies, command and control systems, and complex systems integration. This position is on-site in Colorado Springs, CO. The Systems Engineer will support the development, integration, testing, and performance analysis of mission-critical systems within a large-scale engineering environment.

Compensation for the Systems Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $155,000 depending on experience
• Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law
