Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of systems engineering or enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server, and PowerShell.
• Experience with legal technology platforms, cloud-based SaaS legal platforms, and endpoint management tools (Microsoft Intune).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Overview

The Chicago, IL office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support enterprise technology services within a large law firm environment. The primary responsibilities of this role include administering and supporting legal technology platforms, managing application delivery through Microsoft Intune and endpoint technologies, and developing automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure.

Responsibilities

Job Specifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of systems engineering or enterprise infrastructure experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server, and advanced PowerShell scripting
• Experience with legal technology platforms, cloud-based SaaS legal platforms, and endpoint management tools (Microsoft Intune)
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities
