The Chicago, IL office of Lewis Brisbois seeks an experienced Systems Engineer for DMS and Legal Applications to administer and optimize the firm’s DMS and core legal applications.

Responsibilities include designing integrations, handling metadata, and supporting SSO and other identity technologies across a large multi-office environment. 5+ years in legal tech is expected.

• Utilize APIs, PowerShell, SQL, Power Automate, and middleware technologies.
• Manage metadata synchronization among DMS, practice management, records management, and security platforms.
• Support SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Entra ID integrations.
• At least 5+ years supporting legal applications in an Am Law, professional services, or enterprise environment.
• 3+ years supporting legal technology platforms within a law firm or legal services organization.

Overview

The Chicago, IL office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an experienced Systems Engineer - Document Management System (DMS) and Legal Applications. The Systems Engineer – DMS and Legal Applications is responsible for the administration, integration, optimization and support of the firm's Document Management System (DMS) and core legal applications portfolio. This role serves as a technical subject matter expert for the technologies that enable matter management, document lifecycle management, legal workflow automation, records management, knowledge management, collaboration, and attorney productivity.

• Support Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, OAuth, and Entra ID integrations.
• At least 5+ years supporting legal applications in an Am Law, professional services, or enterprise environment.
• 3+ years supporting legal technology platforms within a law firm or legal services organization.
• Experience with iManage, NetDocuments, Aderant, Elite, Litera, BigHand, Intapp, Relativity, or comparable systems.
• Experience with legal application integrations and enterprise software implementations.
• Experience working in a large multi-office professional services environment.
