Job summary

Stellent IT LLC seeks a Systems Engineer 5 to join on-site in Aurora, CO. You will define interfaces, develop use cases, and validate system performance with the test team, while integrating hardware and software components for a government program.

The role requires a strong background in SE lifecycle, Agile practices, MBSE tooling, and scripting; experience with EVMS and large-scale program management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) in a related field and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions, with specific experience in ConOps, capability elaboration, program increment support, functional analysis or interface definition
• Development experience on a government contract
• Experience with Agile principles, to include Agile systems engineering practices and/or Agile roles such as Scrum Master / Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigation into system anomalies to identify root cause
• Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program

• Development experience on a government contract
• Experience with Agile principles, to include Agile systems engineering practices and/or Agile roles such as Scrum Master / Product Owner

Qualifications We Prefer

• Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management large-scale ground systems, space-based ISR platforms)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler)
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, Groovy, or Ruby
• Experience building automation, developer tooling, and lifecycle reporting for large, distributed software programs
• Experience with test automation tools (Cucumber, Gherkin, Behave)
• Experience with requirements management in DOORS or other requirements databases
• Good oral and written communication skills as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment
