We are offering relocation assistance!

TouchPoint, Support Services, provides customer focused support services. As specialists, we perform services including healthcare housekeeping, management in laundry processing, patient transportation, and food service. TouchPoint is a compilation of the most committed and talented individuals working in the industry today. Our dedication to quality, exceptional customer service, and unequivocal results allow us to provide the best outcomes to our clients.

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and client-focused leader to serve as the System Director of Environmental Services (EVS) for five hospitals within our health system. This high-visibility role goes beyond traditional facilities management — it demands an exceptional communicator, a trusted client partner, and a relationship-builder who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

The ideal candidate is a polished, engaged professional who brings executive presence, operational rigor, and service excellence to every interaction. You will serve as the primary liaison between EVS and hospital leadership, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient satisfaction. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, forward-thinking leader who can build credibility quickly, navigate complex client dynamics, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the overall EVS operations across five hospitals, ensuring standardized processes, high service quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to hospital leadership; communicate effectively with executives, clinical leaders, and support departments.
  • Coordinate housekeeping and sanitation efforts with other departments to deliver patient-centered service outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop EVS managers and staff to cultivate a high-performing, service-driven team culture.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor department budgets, ensuring financial accountability and resource efficiency across all sites.
  • Establish and maintain work standards, workflows, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent execution and staff adherence.
  • Monitor departmental performance through KPIs, audits, and client feedback; proactively address areas for improvement.
  • Remain proactive in meeting or exceeding facility goals, patient satisfaction targets, and infection prevention standards.
  • Lead staff development initiatives; maintain updated job descriptions and encourage participation in education programs.
  • Champion innovation and creativity among staff to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate quality leadership and embrace the principles of Total Quality Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of director-level experience overseeing EVS operations in a hospital or senior living setting (multi-site leadership preferred).
    • Experience in client-facing environments with contract-managed services and P&L accountability is highly desirable.
  • Education:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
    • Strong communication abilities — both verbal and written — with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
    • Proven ability to manage operational complexity, budgets, staffing, and compliance across multiple locations.
    • Adept in using Microsoft Office Suite and other industry-relevant software platforms.
    • Highly organized with excellent follow-through, administrative, and stress management skills.
This position offers the chance to lead in a mission-driven, performance-focused environment where your ability to drive operational excellence and build trusted client relationships will make a significant impact.
