Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math or related field with 1 year of relevant experience (or 3 years as substitute).
• Experience with large-scale, multi-tiered distributed applications and provisioning via shell scripting.
• Proficiency in SQL, PowerShell, Perl, Bash, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
• Experience maintaining database servers such as MySQL or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Build tools to automate and streamline fleet operations.
• Respond to large-scale fleet events and diagnose critical failures.
• Mentor engineers and provide daytime support for operational tickets.
• Propose and implement automation for efficiency and scalability.
• Query databases and support internal customers of Amazon infrastructure.
