Job summary

Amazon Security is seeking a Systems Development Engineer in the Detection Engineering team for Customer Logistics Security (CLS) in Austin, TX. You will write code, build automation, and deploy secure, scalable systems that process billions of signals and protect customer data across hybrid environments.

You’ll own design and operation of infrastructure, drive projects from concept to deployment, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to strengthen security, reliability, and performance

Qualifications

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with modern languages (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, implementation, and operation of systems and infrastructure that secure Customer Logistics systems.
• Dive deep into complex technical problems across OS, networking, and cloud services to deliver secure, reliable solutions at scale.
• Define and execute technical solutions that deliver value to customers quickly and sustainably.
• Partner with engineers, data professionals, and product teams to build cohesive, secure solutions.
