Amazon Leo for Government (ALG Engineering) is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II to own the health, resiliency, and automation of lab infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and runbooks across hardware‑in‑the‑loop environments.

You will implement infrastructure‑as‑code, drive observability, and collaborate with systems engineers, hardware teams, software developers, and partners to deliver scalable, reliable test systems for satellite and ground segments.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.

Responsabilités

• Own the design, deployment, and health of lab infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Architect infrastructure-as-code solutions and monitoring platforms.
• Identify and mitigate risks to system resiliency in design reviews and post-incident analyses.
• Define best practices across the lab for automation, observability, and incident response.
• Diagnose cross-stack issues across hardware, software, networking, and OS.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, diagrams, and operational procedures.
