Job summary

Valeo in Troy, MI is seeking a Systems Design Leader to drive budget execution and lead the Systems discipline on automotive ECU projects. You will oversee QCD performance, ensure design reviews and corrective actions, and champion reusable design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• Master’s Degree in Electronics or Software is preferred.
• 5+ years of automotive ECU development experience, ADAS is preferred.
• Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety and cybersecurity methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Budget execution for the assigned project, aligned with project and discipline budgets.
• Lead the team responsible for Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) performance of the Systems discipline.
• Oversee Systems Technical Review execution and corrective action planning.
• Drive design solutions and reuse within the project.
• Support QRQC for rapid issue resolution and continuous improvement.
