Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for semiconductor manufacturing. You will define platform processes, system specs, inputs/outputs, and work with hardware/software compatibility across complex architectures.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Engineering and at least 1 year of related experience, with skills in Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL, RTL, ASIC design tools, and C/C++/Python.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• One year of experience in related engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and/or test electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing.
• Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, I/O and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
• Identify and resolve system design weaknesses and influence future products by contributing to framework/architecture.
