Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Cybersecurity professional to perform as either a Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) or Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSO) in the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI).

HNI focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases.

This position will be supporting the Cloud One programs. Cloud One is the AF evolution to standardized platforms and application support services providing secure cloud environments, engineered envioronments, and cyber security solutions. Cloud One provides AF target envirioniments and cloud migration services for 2,700+ AF mission applications.

LOCATION: Hanscom, AFB, Massachusetts

JOB STATUS: Full-Time; salaried

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

• Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience, of which 3 years must be in the DoD
• OR 7 years of directly related experience, of which 5 years must be in the DoD
• Certification requirements:
  • ISSE: IASAE Level 2 (e.g. CASP+ CE. CISSP, CSSLP)
  • ISSO: IAM Level 2 (e.g. CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP)
• Secret level Clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The individual shall ensure that all system deliverables comply with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity, and AFI 17-130, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.

• The individual shall ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Systems, and AFI 17-101, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology.

• The individual shall support activities and meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling, in order to achieve standardized, PKI-supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication.
