Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support CM activities across enterprise systems, apps, infrastructure, and environments. You will establish baselines, manage CIs in CMDBs, track changes, and help develop CMPs, policies, and standards.

You will collaborate with system admins, developers, and cybersecurity personnel to maintain configuration control, perform audits, and support releases and vulnerability remediation while ensuring accurate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, CS, or related field.
• Minimum of two years supporting IT programs or operations.
• Experience with CM, asset, change, or related IT ops roles.
• Familiarity with CM principles, processes, and best practices.
• Experience maintaining technical documentation and CMDB records.
• Knowledge of CM tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Git.
• Understanding of software version control, releases, and deployments.
• Experience in enterprise IT environment operations and sustainment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration management for enterprise systems and environments.
• Establish and monitor configuration baselines for consistency and traceability.
• Manage configuration items in CMDBs and repositories.
• Assist in change management through documentation and tracking.
• Develop and maintain configuration management plans and standards.
• Track releases, patches, and deployments for version control.
• Maintain inventories of assets and licenses.
• Collaborate with admins, developers, cybersecurity, and project teams.
• Perform configuration audits for baseline compliance.
• Support incident, problem, and change management with CM data.
• Produce configuration status accounting reports for leadership.
• Assist with release management and deployments.
• Support vulnerability remediation through CM changes.
• Maintain documentation repositories and records.
• Identify CM risks and propose mitigations.
• Support modernization initiatives while preserving CM integrity.
• Participate in testing, validation, and readiness activities.
• Contribute to audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.
