Systems Architect – Infrastructure

Analytica is seeking a senior technical leader who can balance strategic infrastructure architecture with hands‑on execution. The role includes designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable IT infrastructure that supports advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will ensure reliability, performance, and security while enabling modern data and AI/ML workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure environments.
• Oversee infrastructure planning, deployment, and ongoing maintenance across cloud and/or hybrid environments.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems supporting data, analytics, and machine learning workloads.
• Collaborate with data, application, and security teams to align infrastructure solutions with program requirements.
• Define and implement infrastructure standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Support DevSecOps practices, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance on infrastructure‑related decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a senior infrastructure engineering or architecture role (Level III or equivalent).
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and/or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Experience designing and supporting infrastructure for data platforms, analytics, or machine learning workloads.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, compute, and storage architectures.
• Experience with system monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting big data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards in regulated environments.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar.
• Experience in federal or mission‑driven environments.
