Job summary

You will architect information systems and guide data-driven technical decisions for senior leadership while leading R&D activities in the Technical Integration Facility. You will engage industry and academia to identify advanced technology and assess gaming, simulation and XR opportunities for the Army's future training environment,

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance required at start.
• Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems or enterprise architecture for DoD or complex technical programs.
• Experience with game engines, simulation or extended reality (Unreal Engine, Unity, VBS).
• Ability to translate emerging technology into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide information systems architecture, designs and data-driven technical advice to FTD leadership.
• Lead information-systems science and technology activities in the Technical Integration Facility.
• Engage with industry and academia to identify and assess gaming, simulation and emerging technologies for transfer into the future training environment.
• Maintain architecture baselines and technical documentation for experiments and demonstrations.
• Support demonstrations and evaluations of prototype technologies.
