YOUR ROLE

Support the operational, financial, and quality performance of the CEVA Network station by identifying inefficiencies, working with the local team to address them, and deploying action plans to sustain improvements. Responsible for managing Operational Excellence programs and certifications for the station(s), supporting and mentoring the Operations team. Foster process development, standardization, and lead continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, and PDCA, collaborating with country and regional BPE teams.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

1. Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements through Lean methodologies to streamline processes.
2. Perform root cause analysis on operational issues and develop corrective actions to support site performance and customer quality.
3. Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from inception to completion.
4. Monitor and develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
5. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance, aligning with regional standards.
6. Maintain records of improvement activities through the Ground Kaizen Program and report progress to management and the BPE organization.
7. Conduct training sessions for staff on Lean principles and continuous improvement techniques.
8. Lead the station's journey to excellence within the Ground "Transport Classification Assessment" program.
9. Collaborate with station and country cross-functional teams to support Lean initiatives.
10. Work with Local/Regional BPE/IT organizations on cross-country/regional tools and process rollouts, promoting adoption at the station level.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
12. Model and act in accordance with CEVA's guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, Transportation, Management, or Administration.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, related to transport operations or Lean/Continuous Improvements.
• Experience managing Transport or Logistics related continuous improvements and/or IT projects.

Skills:

• Knowledge of Transport operations, Freight Management, Contract Logistics, and warehousing operations.
• Process engineering and management skills.
• Proficiency in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies (PDCA, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Understanding of operational systems like Navigator, One View, OneSan, EDI processing, etc.

Characteristics:

• Strong ability to interpret and analyze documents and procedures.
