BCI is seeking to fill up to two (2) full-time positions with energetic, self-starters who possess experience in DoD System Safety Programs. The successful candidates will become part of the growing BCI Operations Engineering Safety group, providing tailored System of Systems, Warfare System, Combat System, and Element level System Safety Engineering support to Coast Guard, Naval Sea Systems Command, Joint, and Naval Air Systems activities. The role involves providing technical expertise in Configuration Management (CM), planning, and task execution.

Job Details:

• Start Date: June/July 2025
• Telework: Minimal
• Shift: Days (Primary)

Experience Required:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in any field and at least four (4) years of experience related to Navy Combat System or Combat System Element Configuration Management, or no degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience. Candidates must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and working knowledge of Access, Project, and Adobe Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates should be detail-oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities:

• Manage configuration issues related to hardware inventory, documentation, technology updates, weapons system baseline updates, and software configuration.
• Support technical teams in defining, documenting, baselining, changing, and tracking configuration items.
• Participate in working groups, meetings, and forums related to Combat Systems Safety.
