Systems Analyst - MUST have TIERS experience! - REMOTE

The (HHS) Tiers Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and supporting the Texas Integrated Eligibility and Referral System (TIERS) applications used within HHS. This includes troubleshooting system issues, gathering user requirements, testing updates, and ensuring smooth operation for staff and beneficiaries accessing various social services programs through the TIERS platform.

The Systems Analyst III performs and supports enrollment-related Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS) project activities by Medicaid and CHIP Services (MCS) business areas. This role involves overseeing daily operations and activities related to TIERS updates or enhancements using agile processes, managing multiple projects, and providing advanced consultative services and technical assistance to program staff, governmental agencies, and vendors. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of TIERS, managed care policies, and processes, and be capable of analyzing managed care data including Medicaid/CHIP eligibility, premium payments, and encounter data to resolve issues.

Key responsibilities include problem identification, developing solutions, communicating options, and formulating responses to stakeholders. The position requires working under minimal supervision with significant independence, and the candidate should thrive in an environment that values innovation, excellence, partnership, leadership, and continuous learning.
