Job summary

The City of Oklahoma City is seeking a Systems Analyst I to design, develop, and maintain applications serving a broad range of municipal needs. You will work independently, act as a liaison between the department, customers, and vendors, and potentially supervise staff.

Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, creating logic diagrams, evaluating hardware/software specs, and delivering documentation. CJIS compliance and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard project management methodologies used to implement multi-tier systems.
• Skill in supporting commercial and/or custom applications.
• Skill in developing application documentation for technical and functional users.
• Skill in conducting business application needs assessments.
• Skill in conducting process improvement analysis and defining project requirements.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, evaluate, and maintain applications and systems for a large municipal government enterprise.
• Provide technical analysis of business requirements and prepare logic flow charts.
• Evaluate hardware and software specifications and provide supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal customers and external vendors; may supervise Programmers.
• Maintain and modify programs and analyses as needed.
