Job summary

Willis-Knighton-Health seeks an information systems analyst to oversee MEDITECH Expanse implementation and support across multiple facilities. You will train staff, participate in testing and updates, and work with IT peers to resolve cross-department issues in a multi-hospital setting.

The role requires 2+ years in IT with MEDITECH Expanse preferred, plus a bachelor’s degree or five years equivalent experience, and strong SQL/Crystal Reports skills.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with MEDITECH Expanse preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in information systems implementing and supporting computerized applications.
• Bachelor’s degree required or five years’ equivalent work experience.
• Strong background with query tools, preferably SQL and Crystal Reports.

Job Summary:Oversee AMB implementation and support of System Applications for select staff and/or departments. Assist in the identification and resolution of issues which may overlap with other departments. Work with other IT analysts to address problems and devise solutions. Supports applications in a multi-hospital environment. Works to insure standards are maintained across all facilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for assisting in the support of the daily activities of Meditech Expanse and additional related software applications.This position provides training to the staff, assists in the implementation and testing of various software and system updates and other duties as assigned in a multi-facility environment.Analyzes user needs, requirements, procedures and problems relevant to assigned information system programs to automate processing and improve functionality of the primary and associated system programs of the EHR by evaluating, designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining the features/functions of new and existing systems.Leads/manages assigned projects.Honor the value of the team and work in concert with others to create a personal experience for every patient or customerHonor and respect the diverse nature, beliefs, values and lifestyles of patients, families and colleaguesPerforms other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:Direct experience with the use and support of the MEDITECH Expanse is preferred.Minimum of 2 years of information systems experience (or equivalent) implementing and supporting computerized applications.A bachelor’s degree is required or a minimum of five years of equivalent work experience.Strong background with query tools (preferably SQL and Crystal Report Writer).Strong interpersonal skills and proven team leadership are desired.Location: WK Medical Center - 1 · Data Processing PCLNSchedule: Full-Time, Day, 8-5
