Job summary

State Street seeks a Systems Analyst to partner with business stakeholders and technology teams, translating needs into defined system solutions. The role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and operations, supporting design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of systems and applications.

You will work across teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood, documented, and aligned to scalable solutions, driving clarity and reducing delivery risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience performing systems or business analysis in a technology delivery environment.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Experience with data analysis, system interfaces, and process modeling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear system specifications, process flows, and functional designs
• Work closely with developers, testers, and project managers to support solution design and delivery
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies in requirements and propose practical solutions
• Support testing activities, including requirements validation, test case review, and issue triage
• Assist with implementation planning, user acceptance testing, and production readiness
• Provide ongoing analysis and support for system enhancements, defects, and change requests
• Maintain accurate documentation including requirements, process flows, and system artifacts
• Serve as a liaison across business, technology, and operations to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle
