Overview

Job role: Systems Analyst II (Mainframe) — Remote

Engagement description: The Systems Analyst II role will support the Ancillary IT lines of business, including dental, vision, and Consumer-Directed Health (CDH) products, with potential collaboration with pharmacy and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) IT teams. The primary focus is to ensure the successful execution of production jobs, resolve defects, and develop or enhance mainframe logic to prevent job failures. This includes work on claim file loading, CDH membership reconciliations, and corrections. The ideal candidate will also be able to support project initiatives related to 2026 benefits and enrolment. Proficiency in SQL and Java is an asset to contribute to core processes such as reporting and benefit functions and to improve IT operations efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful execution of production jobs and resolve defects on mainframe systems.
• Develop or enhance mainframe logic to prevent job failures (e.g., claim file loading, CDH membership reconciliations, corrections).
• Support project initiatives related to 2026 benefits and enrolment.
• Contribute to reporting and benefit functions using SQL and Java where applicable.
