You will perform vulnerability scanning with Qualys, manage agents and appliances, and help maintain coverage above 98% of in-scope assets. The ideal candidate has 6–9 years in relevant fields and hands-on Qualys experience.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years in systems analysis, vulnerability management, or information security.
• Hands-on experience with Qualys and authenticated scanning.
• Experience deploying Qualys agents and managing scanners/appliances.
• Ability to generate vulnerability management reports and track SLAs.
• Strong integrity and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous internal and external vulnerability scanning using Qualys.
• Leverage and operate existing Prolec Qualys environment and licensing.
• Install and manage Qualys agents on Prolec servers for authenticated scans.
• Deploy up to one additional Qualys scanning appliance per quarter.

As a Systems Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Security Operations team supporting vulnerability management initiatives. What's the Job?

• Perform continuous internal and external vulnerability scanning using Qualys.
• Leverage and operate the existing Prolec Qualys environment and licensing.
• Install and manage Qualys agents on Prolec servers for authenticated scans.
• Deploy up to one additional Qualys scanning appliance per quarter.
• Maintain vulnerability scan coverage at or above 98% of known in-scope assets.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 6 to 9 years of experience in systems analysis, vulnerability management, or information security roles.
• Hands-on experience using Qualys or similar vulnerability scanning platforms, including authenticated scanning, agent deployment, and scanner appliance management.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability triage processes, including identifying, prioritizing, and tracking vulnerabilities against SLAs.
• Experience generating vulnerability management reports and metrics, including backlog trends, scan coverage, and remediation status.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold a respectful work environment.
