Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Systems Analyst-Consultant for the Pharmacy Care Management Platform team. You will serve as the subject matter expert across technology products and agile processes, partnering with Pharmacy Operations and Transformation to drive improvements.

The role requires deep SQL querying skills, healthcare domain knowledge, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Requires at least 7 years of directly related professional experience and deep technical abilities in one or more primary products, programs or technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and technical counterparts.
• Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Requires Health Care knowledge and experience, Preferred Pharmacy knowledge and experience.
• Requires database understanding and expert level SQL querying skillset.
• Requires understanding and experience in Agile methodology, Product Model, DevSecOps and Agile tools.
• Proven ability to function in a fast moving and rapidly evolving environment.

The Pharmacy Care Management Platform team delivers all IT Pharmacy solutions to support Pharmacy Operations and Pharmacy Transformation. The Systems Analyst-Consultant will report to the Pharmacy Development Senior Manager. In this role you will be the comprehensive subject matter expert in the technology products/platform feature space and apply, learn, and extend your skills beyond formal role boundaries. Having a desire to help achieve transformational healthcare improvement should serve as the inspiration behind the ideal candidate's willingness to participate across many different activities within an agile working model.
