Position Overview

CACI is seeking a Subject-Matter Expert Systems Administrator to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of mission-critical systems supporting decision-making and command and control for key leaders within the command. The work location is Omaha, Nebraska, contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade operating systems, including cloud resources.
• Support and provide expertise in systems technology, virtual hardware, and cloud capabilities.
• Analyze and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Monitor system responses and user satisfaction, recommending improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors, government, and technical staff on system solutions and management.
• Build, configure, test, and document enterprise system resources.
• Support system outages and authorized service interruptions.
• Work rotating shifts as required by mission needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• At least 7 years of systems administration experience in secure environments, military or defense experience preferred.
• Certifications: 8140 451 - Intermediate, Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, or equivalent training/degree.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, virtualization, networking, and security.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
