Systems Administrator (SIPR)

Base pay range
$69,000.00/yr – $84,700.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks associated with designing, installing, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, upgrading, patching, securing, and managing the SIPRNet IT systems.
- Work with other organizations/agencies as necessary to resolve issues outside of LAAFB control.
- Support the Systems team, manage IT assets, track equipment lifecycle, advise on projects, perform site visits, and provide technical solutions.
- Responsible for systems administration aspects of the NIPRNet and SIPRNet as well as associated equipment including enterprise applications, physical/virtual infrastructure, SANS, DNS, Active Directory, servers, data storage systems, data backup and recovery systems, and backup power systems.
- Develop, implement, document, and maintain a standardized maintenance program for all contractor‑supported government equipment based on DoD and AF guidance, industry standards, and/or best practices.
- Support projects, tasks, personnel, and other resources while liaising among customers and employees.
- Use key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, ensure delivery of contracted services, support management and decision‑making, and facilitate communications.
- Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Provide Architecture and Management Support services including site surveys, inspections, design and review assistance, requirements development, path profiles and studies, and coverage surveys.
- Develop technical solutions and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, and submit CIPs to meet new requirements or solve unique systems or equipment problems.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, in‑scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Relevant certifications such as Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, FITSP‑O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, VMWare VCTA‑DCV or equivalent; Microsoft MCSA or equivalent; Linux+ or equivalent.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR 5 years of relevant experience.
Work is performed full‑time on site in Los Angeles, CA.
