Job summary

CDC Data Centres is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day operations within Corporate and Operational Technology environments. The role acts as the primary escalation point for Help Desk incidents and involves implementing upgrades, patches, and IT policies.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, M365, Intune, and VMware, and be able to mentor staff while supporting secure, reliable infrastructure across diverse campuses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience troubleshooting complex application and system issues at Levels 2 and 3.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, M365, Intune and VMware.
• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, networks, and technology tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
• Manage network servers, workstations, and infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Implement upgrades, patches, and new releases while developing technical documentation and IT policies.
• Train, mentor, and support staff in adopting new technologies and best practices.
• Provide cultural leadership, champion IT policies, and take on additional duties as required.
