Job summary

Abile Group, LLC in Virginia is seeking a Systems Administrator (SaaS) on a 10 year contract to support an Intelligence Community customer with user facing and data center IT services across networks and security domains.

The right candidate will have 5–10 years of related experience, TS/SCI with CI Poly, DoD 8140 IAT II certification or ability to obtain, and a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain within defined period.
• Experience delivering user-facing and data center IT services across multiple networks and security domains.

Responsibilities

• Manage functionality and efficiency of computers running one or more operating systems.
• Maintain server/system security and integrity.

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Systems Administrator (SaaS) on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

• Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
• Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
• Sets up administrator and service accounts.
• Maintains system documentation.
• Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
• Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• May program in an administrative language.
• Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
• Provides advice and training to end-users.
• Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Participates in special projects as required.

Clearance Required

TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Degree and Years of Experience

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

• 5-10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.

Required Certifcations

DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification or equivalent, or ability to obtain within a defined period.

Required Skills

• Provides support for maintenance and change requests of all "user facing" devices and systems.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills.
• Strong writing skills (document creation and note taking).
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work within a team for projects and/or tasks.
• Multi-mission environment experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to troubleshoot and document various problems.

Desired Skills

• Software package/binary deployment (Tanium, Numecent, XenApp, SCCM/MECM).
• ServiceNow experience.
• Thin Client operating systems and virtual hosted desktop OS (AVD/ThinPro/Citrix).
• Client operating systems (Windows 11).
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Azure Virtual Desktop, ESX/vSphere4, XenDesktop).
• Advanced Scripting in Python / PowerShell.
• Log Analysis experience for troubleshooting.
