Basic Function

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Information Technology, provide support for systems infrastructure district-wide including Servers, Operating Systems, Virtualization, Enterprise Storage, Microsoft solutions such as Active Directory and Exchange, Backup and Recovery systems, and related infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to: Associate's degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field AND 4 years experience in a Systems Administration support role, OR high school diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant work experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

Proficiency in UNIX, Microsoft Enterprise Solutions, hardware/software troubleshooting, systems performance, virtualization, storage, networking, and project management. Ability to interact with vendors, troubleshoot complex issues, plan projects, learn new skills, and communicate effectively.
