Amyx is seeking to hire Sr. Systems Admin for a remote position supporting a DLA Operational Technology (OT) contract. The Sr. Systems Admin ensures the stable operation of all in-house and cloud-based computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all software, operating systems, and communication links. Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues. Provides end user training. Ability to analyze, research, and provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision. Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications. Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance. Performs vulnerability management and analytics required to meet DLA, DoD, and Industrial operational and security standards and best practices.

Must have the ability to analyze and suggest recommended improvements and optimizations of development or maintenance efforts. Analysis includes aligning Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS) Electronics Security Systems (ESS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), Fire and Emergency Services Systems, Fule Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Dules Dispensing, Tank Gauging Systems, Material Handling, and other OT Systems.

Work may include occasional travel and on-site work in industrial environments and/or customer sites. Patch, Support and Maintain Windows server, IoT devices, industrial equipment, and multiple workstations needed to successfully operate and run Operational Technology (OT). Admin will work with a remote team, on all administration, cybersecurity, and planning activities. The admin will maintain current systems and work with Operational Technology specialists, Cybersecurity, and government personnel to modernize the environment.

  • Patch server and workstations.
  • Ensure workstations and servers are operational for OT systems
  • Work with local OT personnel on any issues network, software or system.
  • Manage telecommunication system support, communications network support, and video teleconferencing support.
  • Support numerous commercial, DoD supplied, and internally developed software applications for current and legacy systems.
  • Ensure Compliance with changing DoD security requirements.
  • Support applications, system development, and modernization.
  • Manage Network and PC hardware/software installations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with contract leads and customers.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information


Required

  • NACLC, IT-II
  • Experience with various OT vendors and systems including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and network protocols.
  • Security + CE (IAT Level II)
  • 5+ years of experience


Desired

  • DLA and/or DOD Experience
  • Experience or training in Operational Technology (OT)
  • Valid U.S. Passport
  • Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), ISA Certified Control System Technician (CCST), or relevant OT certification through a nationally recognized organization.


Salary- 70k-115k
