Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is seeking a TS/SCI Polygraph cleared System Administrator that also specializes in Cisco networking equipment to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

Requirements

Position Details:

This position will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems and manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.

• Routing and switching for Cisco networking equipment
• Perform planning, deployment and quality assurance functions for system and network upgrade projects
• Develop high, mid and lower level diagrams and schematics to document the system and network infrastructure for planning, historical and continuity purposes
• Designed, installed, configured, troubleshoot and maintain a LAN/WAN equipment required to provide telecommunications services in a complex environment consisting of various Cisco network equipment to include Nexus and Catalyst model as well as Integrated Service Routers
• Designed network utilizing switching technology to include VLAN, Inter-VLAN routing, trunking, and port aggregaton on the WAN/LAN environment.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

Requirements:

• Ten (10) years' experience as a System Administrator
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• IAT I or II Certification
