Job summary

The successful candidate will work with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Hyper-V, WDS, and WSUS, with opportunities to automate deployments using Python or PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include an Associate Degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
• No prior relevant work experience required.
• Preferred educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• Associates degree, technical diploma, or equivalent combination of education (at least two years of experience).
• Exceptional customer service, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with automating operating system deployments.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Proficient in working in a mixed-OS environment.
• Understanding of infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Hyper-V, WDS, and WSUS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Information Technology systems, applications, and hardware.
• Respond to system support requests, incidents, and service tickets to address user needs and concerns.
• Diagnose system problems, errors, and performance issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain system software, applications, and updates to ensure system functionality.
• Document system support procedures, frequently asked questions, and knowledge base articles for user self-help and training.
• Conduct system monitoring, performance tuning, and preventive maintenance to optimize system operations.
• Provide user training, guidance, and support on system features, functionalities, and best practices.
• Stay informed about system support tools, Information Technology service management practices, and user support trends.
• Collaborate with Information Technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve complex system support issues.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
