Job summary

Setechnical in Buford, GA, is seeking a System Administrator for on-site work with our IT Managed Services clients. You will maintain Windows Server environments, AD, DNS, DHCP, and cloud services.

You’ll patch, back up, monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with network/service-desk teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a security-minded, well-documented approach and experience with PowerShell scripting or virtualization are a plus.

The System Admin is responsible for the networks of a variety of clients of an IT Managed Services firm. The System Admin will maintain and administer computer systems and environments, diagnose problems, and recommend and implement solutions to those problems.

What You’ll Do:

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP across client environments
• Manage Microsoft 365 and cloud services: Exchange, SharePoint, and Intune
• Keep systems patched, backed up, and monitored so small issues never become outages
• Diagnose problems, then design and implement the fix, not just a workaround
• Support end users and coordinate with the network and service-desk teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and common backup / monitoring tools
• A security-first mindset and disciplined documentation habits
• Clear communication and a genuine interest in solving problems the right way
• Bonus: PowerShell scripting, virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware), or compliance experience
