Job summary

Cayuse Holdings seeks a Systems Administrator, Journeyman to support Linux and Windows systems, front-end and back-end application support, and automation in a collaborative environment. You will help define system processes, ensure security, and keep systems ready to meet client standards.

The role emphasizes DoD 8140 compliance, access controls, backups, and proactive troubleshooting. You will install, configure, and maintain servers and workstations, develop scripts, and document procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related discipline; 4+ years of relevant experience.
• IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+) required.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2016/2019 and Windows 10/11; 4 years with RedHat/Linux/VMware/Windows Server.
• Familiarity with MySQL databases and Active Directory a plus.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to pass background checks and obtain TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure enterprise software, hardware, and operating systems (Linux, RedHat, Windows).
• Manage MySQL databases, Windows Servers, and Windows 10/11 workstations.
• Develop scripts for system automation and optimization.
