Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned DoD/SCI network engineer to install, manage, and secure SAP/SCI infrastructures. You will collaborate with program managers, engineers, and SMEs across multiple domains, providing VTC support and ensuring system integrity.

Required 5+ years in DoD, SAP/SCI experience, Security+ certification, TS/SBPR clearance, and strong TCP/IP knowledge; cloud and AD expertise are a plus. On-site role in Dayton, OH with a focus on reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

5+ years of DoD experience.
18+ months in a SAP or SCI environment.
Security+ certification.
Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, IP config).
Experience with CAISI, CSS VSAT, and networking.
Active Top Secret clearance (SSBI/SBPR).
Eligible for SCI and SAP access.
Desired: cloud computing, information security, and compliance.
Desired: Microsoft Certified Professional certifications.

Responsibilities

Install, upgrade, monitor, maintain and support networks, software and hardware for SAP/SCI infrastructures.
Interact with program managers, engineers, and subject matter experts across DoD/IC domains.
Administer and maintain assigned network systems and act as ATEA FPO contact.
Provide ATEA FPO VTC support for AF7 and JWICS.
Identify, troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex hardware/software/interoperability problems.
Plan, coordinate, and install application software and hardware for classified networks.
Maintain inventory records for ATEA FPO IT equipment, software, and networks.
Optimize hardware and software functionality, performance, availability and reliability.
Oversee application software installation, configuration and user-environment setup.
Facilitate shared-drive cleanup for NIPR, SIPR and CV2.
Design data products, processes and programs to optimize IT processes.
Implement IS security plans and enforce security policies.
Manage system patches, enhancements, and updates; ensure system integrity.
Develop standard procedures for account establishment, maintenance and recovery.
Minimize disruption from maintenance, upgrades, patches, and backups.
Provide proactive consultation and instruction to system users.
Support contractor inspections and ensure network controls are documented and implemented.

Security+ certification
Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, and IP CONFIG
Experience with CAISI, CSS VSAT, and networking
HS Diploma
Active Top Secret security clearance based upon SSBI/SBPR
Must be eligible for SCI and SAP access
