Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator II in California to manage Windows Server environments, network operations, backups, security, and documentation. You will configure systems, monitor LAN performance, and maintain DM/CM processes in a dynamic defense-focused setting.

The role requires DoD security clearance eligibility up to Top Secret and IAM Level II within 180 days. Associates or higher in IT with 5 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in Computer/Information Technology or equivalent training.
• 5 years of related experience or combination of computer basics and related areas.
• Broad knowledge of computer science, graphics and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Operates MS Windows Server software including security, access control, configuration and backups.
• Specifies LAN requirements, monitors performance, troubleshoots hardware and ensures proper operation.
• Organizes directory structures and trains staff on department usage.
• Manages DM systems, databases and CM/DM release procedures.
• Maintains and designs functional, visually esthetic web pages.
• Provides hardware requirements and tracks equipment configurations with CA/CRL.
• Acts as POC for problem reporting and annual support contract coordination.
• Makes recommendations for hardware/software and process improvements; oversees upgrades.
• Provides operational status and adheres to established policies with independence.
