Job summary

Nivagen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator II in Sacramento, CA. This full-time role supports on-prem and cloud services, managing daily IT operations and the System Services team’s delivery of hosting, productivity tools, security, and support.

The ideal candidate has a BA or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience, or 6+ years, and strong knowledge of system management, networking, AD, and disaster recovery. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years related experience; or six (6) years related experience and/or training.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to implement and manage system configurations, security, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on one or more technology platforms owned by IT Operations.
• Develop roadmaps and execution plans for system upgrades.
• Patch and upgrade operating systems on servers/workstations; tune performance.
