The Challenge
Take‑Two Interactive is seeking an outstanding Systems Administrator to provide on‑site and remote technical support for our NYC, US, and international based offices. This is a hands‑on role requiring a deep level of technical insight and ability, working closely with a variety of technology teams to develop new insights and solutions across the IT stack.
What You’ll Take On
- On and off‑site contact for technical operations and support.
- Escalation point and support for the Novato team.
- Equipment Installation and Maintenance
- Install and maintain desktops, laptops, Macs, network switches, servers.
- Upgrade internal components of desktops or servers (CPU, GPU, disk drives, NICs).
- Replace failing parts and submit RMAs.
- Asset Management
- Assign and maintain assets for users in Service Now.
- Assign locations for remote equipment in Service Now.
- Assign locations for server equipment in Device 42.
- Manage Knowledge Base
- Maintain and create user‑facing self‑service knowledge articles in Service Now.
- Maintain and create IT‑facing knowledge articles in Confluence.
- Responsible for capacity planning and growth
- Audit IT space and server rooms for space, power usage and cooling.
- Plan and prepare for upgrades to IT space or server rooms.
- Coordinate with various IT departments for maintenance of server rooms and networking hardware.
- Evaluate and design cabinets, PDUs, structured cabling solutions.
- Event support
- Coordinating with local teams on requirements.
- Set up, troubleshoot and takedown.
- DevKit management and support
- Setup, update, push builds.
- Provide white‑glove support for executives in Novato and across 2K.
- Communicate and work effectively with other tech teams in the organization.
- Ensure all client requests and operational problems are updated/resolved in a timely manner.
- Deliver outstanding client experience and support.
- Look for opportunities to automate and improve service delivery.
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
- Assist with employee onboarding to ensure new staff can work on day one.
- Maintain inventory/asset management for company‑provided equipment and software.
- Assist with audio/visual hardware setup and break down, including conference rooms and video conferences.
- Work independently; respond promptly; sometimes after hours and weekends.
- Team player; support fellow team members and communicate effectively.
- Travel to support other sites may be required.
What You Bring
- 3‑5 years’ experience with Windows 10, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange, and TCP/IP based networks.
- Operating System configuration, management, and support for desktop/laptop and server.
- Experience implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network devices and infrastructure.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Experience using Okta or similar SAML and two‑factor authentication solutions.
- Familiarity with SCCM for desktop OS deployment and software management.
- Experience with AirWatch/Intelligent Hub/Jamf or equivalent mobile device management.
- Computer hardware knowledge (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, tablets, peripherals).
- Knowledge of current‑generation game consoles (Xbox Series X, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC) and development kits.
- Productivity tools: Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack.
- Remote work solutions: VPN, VDI (Horizon View).
- Storage: local and NAS technologies (NetApp, Nutanix) and cloud solutions (Dropbox).
- Security: knowledge of security standards and methodologies.
- PowerShell and scripting experience.
- Conference room and AV technology experience.
- ServiceNow or equivalent helpdesk ticket system experience.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and proactive customer‑service orientation.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in recording and reporting.
- Ability to translate technical information for non‑technical audiences.
- Passion for video games and the industry.
Great To Have
- MCSE, MCDST, ITIL, Network+, A+ certifications.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $72,000 and $106,560 per year. Compensation may vary based on experience, market location, and other factors. The total compensation package may include a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, commuter benefits, and wellness programs.
