THE PROGRAM:

Work on the program responsible for supporting the administration, operations, maintenance, engineering, and lifecycle of the Agency information technology systems and tools, ensuring the smooth operation of services through a reliable, performant, and well-managed technical environment. This environment is constantly evolving to update technology, adapt to customer requirements, and improve application performance.

You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining systems and networks that provide the infrastructure platforms for the Agency’s capabilities and data. Your responsibilities include system administration, identity and authentication, data storage and backup, physical infrastructure maintenance, automation development, and supporting information system security accreditation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will develop, operate, maintain, and enhance a suite of cybersecurity tools deployed across secure enclaves to support incident response, threat detection, and event monitoring. The team integrates data from centralized and local system sources to ensure effective and timely responses to cybersecurity events. Additionally, you will create new applications, algorithms, and automation to optimize workflows and improve data analysis. The team collaborates to incorporate security requirements into technical solutions and conducts ongoing research to incorporate emerging technologies, enhancing the Agency’s cybersecurity posture and ensuring tools and infrastructure remain operational, resilient, and adaptable to evolving threats.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

5+ years of experience with:

  • Testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity (preferred)
  • Developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity (preferred)
  • Integrating third-party components, introducing new custom capabilities, modifying existing code, process improvement recommendations, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks (preferred)
  • Splunk, Oracle/SQL-based platforms, and Python (preferred)
Software Experience
  • Microsoft Windows, Active Directory (preferred)
Certifications (at least one of the following is preferred)
  • Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
