Job summary

Michael Page in New York City is seeking a Systems Engineer with strong Linux expertise and hands-on cloud experience across AWS, Azure and GCP. The role supports cloud and on-prem infrastructure, requires hybrid work with two onsite days weekly, and emphasizes automation and platform reliability.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement IaC, maintain runbooks, and ensure high availability, security, and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience working in multi-cloud or cloud-agnostic environments.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Shell, or similar).
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, servers, operating systems, and platform technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and system issues.
• Background in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, or related disciplines.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization technologies.

A growing financial services firm based in downtown New York City.

Description

Two days are required onsite in downtown NYC each week.
