Stellar Science seeks an experienced System Administrator to manage and automate complex infrastructure across Windows and Linux, including development servers and collaboration tools, onsite at our Albuquerque HQ.

The role emphasizes automation, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), cloud services (Azure, AWS), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and robust security with disaster recovery planning. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• BS in an IT field and 5 years hands-on experience administering Windows and Linux systems; or 10 years in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Citizen willing to undergo a background investigation.
• Designing and managing multi-server environments with automation and scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Cloud services (Azure, AWS), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and containerization (Podman, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Active Directory.
• Revision control with Git or Subversion.
• Storage systems (SAN, NAS, cloud) focusing on scalability and data security.
• Security practices, risk management, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent communication skills.
