• Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
• Lead the UNIX/Linux administration team and oversee infrastructure projects.
• Serve as final escalation point for complex system issues.
• Design and audit security configurations to ensure compliance.

Special Requirements:

• Technical Team Leadership: Lead the UNIX/Linux administration team, providing guidance, mentoring, training, and performance feedback.
• Project Management: Oversee major infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Serve as the final escalation point for complex system issues.
• Security & Compliance: Design and audit security configurations, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

This is a hybrid-remote position. We expect this position to be onsite two to three days per week. The first weeks of training will be onsite.
