Job summary

Fandp in Troy, Ohio, seeks a systems administrator to recommend, install, and maintain personal computers, servers, label printers, laser printers, RF scanners, and networks. The role also ensures backup and security procedures, inventory accuracy, and standard configurations.

You will monitor networks, assist with software issues, maintain licensing servers, and drive assigned projects to completion while showing commitment to the organization's mission.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recommends, installs, and maintains hardware, servers, printers, RF scanners, and networks.
• Ensures that backup, recovery, and security procedures are set up and performed as planned.
• Ensures the accuracy of the hardware and software inventory.
• Ensures that standard hardware/software configurations are adhered to.
• Monitors network utilization to detect potential errors and provide preventive guidelines.
• Assists with PC software issues and projects as requested.
• Maintains software licensing servers.
• Executes assigned project tasks within established schedules.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment toward the job and mission of the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Experience with UNIX or HP-UX.
