Position Summary Description
Installs and maintains server hardware, storage systems, server-based operating systems, system support software, utility software, application software and other related hardware and software components. Provides primary support for all non-application software issues and primary support for certain application software issues. Administers system-level security functions. Provides administrative support to Office 365 Applications.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in business or a computer related discipline. The incumbent, if not possessing a four (4) year degree, should have a minimum of four (4) years business-related experience including two (2) years in information systems/technology. Experienced candidates may be considered for the Systems Administrator II job level if they meet the following requirements: Three (3) years of IT experience, one (1) of which must be direct experience as a system administrator installing, monitoring, and maintaining servers, operating systems, security tools, hardware, and software tools in a medium to large scale organization.

Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Must be able to follow established protective measures including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
Working Conditions
Must be capable of working extra hours and/or weekends when necessary to complete a project on time. Must be available on a 24-hour basis in the event of a system malfunction, which requires assistance. Travel may be required. While working in certain areas of the plant there is the potential for exposure to hazards typical of an industrial working environment.
