Job summary

Jenson USA, based in Riverside, CA, is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain and secure our IT infrastructure. You will manage networks, servers, cloud services, and telecommunication, ensuring reliable uptime and security.

This role reports to the Director of IT in a hybrid environment at 1615 Eastridge Ave, Riverside, CA 92507. You will lead IT projects, mentor the helpdesk team, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience administering business IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, endpoints).
• Experience planning and completing infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or security improvements.
• Experience mentoring or supervising IT support staff and setting priorities for incoming requests.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, telecommunication).
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security; identify risks and improvements.
• Plan and carry out system upgrades, configurations, maintenance, backups, and recovery activities.
• Lead IT infrastructure projects, including planning, vendor coordination, testing, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, procedures, and resources.
• Provide technical guidance to business leaders and communicate risks clearly.
• Supervise the helpdesk; assign work, coach staff, and contribute to staffing decisions.
• Travel to other company locations as needed to support IT infrastructure.

If you have other qualifying coverage, you may receive a $150 monthly stipend. *If you are out of network, additional costs may apply.** Time Off: 15 days (3 weeks) of Paid Time Off, 7 Paid Holidays and an extra day off to ride (Bike Day) awarded each year on your work anniversary.* Employee Purchase Program: Access to purchase our full inventory at cost + 3.5%.* Retirement Plan: 401(k) Plan with 4% matching.* Additional Insurance: Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options* Flexible Spending Accounts* Professional Growth & Development Opportunities**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenson USA’s network, servers, cloud services, telecommunications, and related IT infrastructure.* Monitor system performance, availability, and security; identify risks and recommend improvements to the Director of IT.* Plan and carry out approved system upgrades, configurations, maintenance, backups, and recovery activities.* Investigate complex infrastructure issues, determine appropriate solutions, and coordinate responses to significant outages or security incidents, escalating business-critical matters to the Director of IT.* Lead assigned IT infrastructure projects, including technical planning, implementation, vendor coordination, testing, and documentation.* Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration standards, procedures, and knowledge resources.* Evaluate technology products and vendor proposals; make purchasing recommendations and exercise purchasing authority within approved limits.* Provide technical guidance to business leaders and communicate system issues, risks, and recommendations in clear, practical terms.* Supervise the helpdesk employee, assign and prioritize work, provide coaching and technical guidance, and contribute to performance and staffing decisions.* Provide advanced technical support and assist with helpdesk requests when needed.* Travel to other company locations as needed to support IT infrastructure and equipment.**Preferred Qualifications*** Five or more years of experience administering business IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, and endpoint systems.* Experience independently planning and completing infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or security improvements.* Strong working knowledge of network troubleshooting, identity and access management, system security, backup, and disaster recovery.* Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and related cloud or hybrid environments, if those reflect Jenson’s actual systems.* Experience evaluating vendors, preparing purchasing recommendations, and managing technical projects across multiple locations.* Experience mentoring or supervising IT support staff and setting priorities for incoming support requests.* Ability to explain technical risks and recommendations clearly to business leaders.* Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft, CompTIA Network+ or Security+, or Cisco, are a plus**Physical Demands and Work Environment**This role involves regular use of a computer and communication tools. The employee may move between office, warehouse, and IT equipment areas to inspect, install, maintain, or troubleshoot systems. The role occasionally requires climbing a ladder to access equipment and lifting, carrying, or moving IT equipment.
