Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Systems Administrator in Newport News, VA for a contract role with a hybrid onsite/remote schedule. You will design, implement, and maintain Windows Server infrastructures, manage virtualization with VMware ESXi and Hyper-V, and administer Linux (RHEL) environments.

You will develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Python to streamline tasks and collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOX.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s Degree. (A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.)
• 8 years of relevant experience.

• Design, implement, and maintain complex Windows Server infrastructures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

• Architect and manage large-scale virtualization environments, including VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and cloud-based platforms.

• Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or other languages to streamline complex administrative tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
