The Systems Administrator maintains and supports the organization's cloud, on-premises, and hybrid IT infrastructure, with primary responsibility for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, storage, backups, and related systems. The role also provides infrastructure-level support for Microsoft 365 and supports day-to-day network and security operations in coordination with other IT team members.
The Systems Administrator serves as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, supports technology projects, implementations, and migrations, and maintains accurate technical documentation and knowledge resources.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Relevant technical training, certifications, and professional experience may be considered in place of a four-year degree.
Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity.
Experience supporting network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, wireless networks, VLANs, VPNs, and TCP/IP.
Knowledge of backup and recovery, monitoring, patching, and infrastructure security practices.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues.
Ability to create clear technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Ability to work independently, collaborate with IT teams and vendors, and manage changing priorities.
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to travel to other organizational locations as needed.
