Job Description: Our client is seeking a Systems Administrator to lead the implementation and management of advanced IT infrastructure across multiple data center locations. This role blends hands-on expertise in networking and server administration with strategic project leadership. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and robust security across enterprise environments.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to design, deploy, and maintain critical systems, while playing a key role in driving innovation and efficiency within the infrastructure landscape.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, configure, and deploy enterprise network components, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Administer and maintain both physical and virtual servers in Linux and Windows environments.
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution, managing timelines and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor network and server performance using industry tools, analyze trends, and provide data-driven improvement recommendations.
• Develop and maintain clear, detailed documentation of systems architecture and configurations in compliance with industry best practices.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to support IT initiatives and long-term goals.

Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering and systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Hands-on experience with server technologies, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms.
• Proven ability to manage IT infrastructure projects, including documentation, timelines, and resource coordination.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, Zabbix).
• Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for local travel

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience working in a data center or critical infrastructure environment.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
• Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certifications such as CCNA or JNCIS-ENT are highly desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
